Meet Rev Chris Okotie's rumoured new girlfriend (GUESS HE SAID HES NOT GETTING MARRIED AGAIN NI..NA WA OO0)

I said rumoured o, nothing has been confirmed yet, but my sources swear Pastor Chris Okotie has found love again in Delphine Onyii Okoronkwo. I don't know what she does for a living but she's quite popular in the Lagos social scene. According to reports, she has been dating the House Hold of God head pastor for at least three months, though his people claim they are just friends.

Delphine, who is in her late 20's, recently launched a brand new Kia Carens car said to be worth over N8million and people are saying Pastor Okotie bought the car for her. Delphine doesn't attend Chris Okotie's church, she attends pastor Tony Rapu's This Present House church, but visits her rumoured new squeeze at his Opebi, Ikeja home after church service on Sundays.

Rev Okotie, who has vowed never to remarry after ending his 4-year marriage to Stephanie Henshaw in June 2012, was earlier this year linked to another lady called Naomi Hoffman  though his camp denied the affair.

Joseph Yobo denies sending mother-in-law, Abigail Igwe, packing

There were rumours recently (You probably didn't hear it...I didn't either) that Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo sent his mother-in-law, Mrs Abigail Igwe Fashanu packing from his home for being a bad influence on her daughter, his wife, Adaeze Igwe. He tells Maestro Media, it's not true.

The number of calls we have received over this falsehood is unbelievable. People calling to find out what was going on.  I tell you now and this is the absolute truth- ''My wife is my best friend, she's my queen, she's my everything, our families are doing great and doing very well together. Anyone thinking otherwise is only wasting his or her time. 

I am not going to allow anyone disrespect my Mother-in-law wrongfully. I am not going to accept this. They have stepped way out of line this time and I am not going to take it lying low. We would definitely seek legal redress.

Actress Funke Akindele's 1 year marriage to Kehinde Oloyede ends

Unfortunately this is not rumour, it's fact. A little over a year after tying the knot with Kehinde Oloyede, Funke Akindele's marriage has ended. Kehinde Oloyede shared the news of their split on his Facebook page (which he has since deleted). He wrote:

( END TIME)Man tortures 13 year old son to death, buries corpse

A 34-year-old man, Arogundade Ahmed, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly flogging his son to death.

According to eyewitnesses, Arogundade tortured his 13-year-old son, Qudus, to death because Qudus broke into someone’s house and attempted to steal.

Arogundade was said to have killed his son in the presence of his little sister, Sherifat.

After killing the boy, Arogundade dug a grave and buried him in front of his house in Alogba Estate area of Ikorodu. (Above photo - Arogundade’s house. Circle, the grave)

Our correspondent, who visited the crime scene, learnt that the incident occurred on June 27, 2013.

It was leant that the deceased was an apprentice at a mechanic workshop in the area.

A senior police officer at Ipakodo Police Division, who craved anonymity, said, “We were told that on the said date, Qudus broke into the house of one Apoti Lateef and attempted to steal. Lateef raised the alarm, accosted the boy and then called his (Qudus) master, Idowu Gabriel.

“Gabriel and Lateef said they tied up the boy and then called his father to take him away.”

Our correspondent learnt that Arogundade took the boy home and then beat him up with barbwire, sticks and other objects for about five hours.

As the beating continued, Qudus started getting weak and later died.

According to eyewitnesses, on seeing that Qudus had given up the ghost, Arogundade called a grave digger to bury his corpse.

An eyewitness, Adekunle Adekoya, told PUNCH Metro that no one could intervene when Arogundade was beating up his son because Arogundade was a hot-tempered man.

He said, “He (Arogundade) is hot-tempered. When he brought his son home around 12pm, he beat him till about 5pm. The boy kept on screaming and we could do nothing to save him because we did not want his trouble.

“Some neighbours were also around at the time but no one wanted to interfere. After sometime, the boy just went unconscious. We did not know he was dead. It was when I saw a man digging a grave in front of Arogundade’s house around 7.30pm that I knew the worst had happened.

“I immediately called the Lagos State Emergency telephone number but no one came.”

The traditional leader of the community, Oludapo Sule, said he reported the matter to the police as well as members of the Oodua People’s Congress.

He said they were able to apprehend Arogundade at midnight.

He said, “I received an anonymous call on the day of the incident and the caller told me that a man had killed and buried his son in front of his house. I was able to meet with the landlords in the area, who confirmed the incident to me

“So, at midnight, he was picked up and taken to the police station. The matter has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba and I have written my statement.”

Sule however urged the police to ensure that Qudus’ corpse was exhumed and given proper burial.

Chairman, Alogba Estate and Palapo Town Community Development Association, Mr. Agboola Aluko, said Arogundade had been terrorising the community for quite some time.

He said Arogundade had inflicted machete cuts on Qudus before and had even threatened to kill members of the community.

He said, “Arogundade had beaten Qudus with a machete before and even almost killed his wife. That was why she divorced him. Even when he was being arrested, he threatened to deal with anyone who spoke against him.

“I have settled many disputes in this area caused by Arogundade. Even women in the area are scared of him. We have reported his bad behaviour to the police before.”

Arogundade, however, said he did not kill his son. He said his son was merely beaten after he was accosted for stealing.

The police statement on the incident read, “Upon his arrest, Arogundade said he did not kill his son. He said he (Qudus) was almost dead when Lateef and Gabriel handed him over. He said his son died soon after and then buried his corpse in front of his house and went to bed.

The police source said, “We have also arrested Lateef and Gabriel but they claimed they only tied up the boy and did not kill him. Investigations are ongoing.”

When contacted on the telephone, the spokesperson for the state police command, Ngozi Braide, said she would call back.

MY CAR ACCIDENT…
I really don’t like to talk about bad experiences because I believe that it’s like a lesson and stepping stone for everybody in life to learn something at some point. When I had that accident, it was the second time it would happen to me, so it was a reality check on me. What if one’s life ended that day? God forbid! I’m grateful for life and I made a promise never to slow down on what I’m good at.
WHY I WAS INVITED BY THE POLICE…
Some unsuspecting guys have been chatting with some fake Wizkid and we can’t readily give full details. We were invited by the Police which we granted. We gave our statements, the other party made their statements as well, but I cannot really say anything about that until the Police go further with their investigations. Though, we know that with the details that have been given, they must have been talking to a fake Wizkid or fake Wizkid management. So, this is really not from me, my management or label. If you have contacted anybody regarding Wizkid and you have paid, provide the bank details and email correspondences. If there was a contract, provide it and it’s as simple as that. We’re not fighting anyone. In fact, we sympathize with anyone who has been duped.  For a while now, we’ve been having cases of people reporting that they’ve been chatting or planning business with a fake Wizkid’s manager or they booked Wizkid for shows. Some even go to the extent of creating fake accounts in my name and collecting money from people. I just want to re-emphasize that there’s a process of booking Wizkid for shows which is just like the normal standard most of us are familiar with. Everybody knows that if you want to book Wizkid, it’s either you go to Empire Music Entertainment (EME) which is my label or you connect with my manager, Godwin Tom. These are the main ways to book me for a show or whatever form of service you need me to handle. Chatting with a Wizkid that has promised to do something for you or charging you some money are fake and I never charge anything with anybody directly. I don’t discuss fees. I allow my management and label handle my business. So, nobody talks directly to me concerning business.

WHAT I’VE DONE TO CURTAIL FRAUD PERPETRATED IN MY NAME…
I’ve tried as much as possible to create more awareness about this on the social media and shared it with as much people as I can access and I’m just sharing this with the press. My management is coming up with details and phone numbers to reach if you want to do a business with Wizkid. It’s either you contact my manager of EME directly, but even when you contact me, it’s the normal procedure that I direct you to the booking office as well. The process is simple. You’d send us your request via email, the booking office will contact you from the email address you provided with a booking questionnaire. The questionnaire will have information about your event as well as your publicity plans and other special requests you need.

EME/STARBOI EVOLUTION…
We’re doing very well, it’s been fantastic and we’ve been have meetings and going back and forth devising new plans for making EME one of the best record labels in Africa, not just Nigeria. We’re putting in works, everyone is currently in the studio and Banky W has shot a couple of videos. We were at the video shoot two days ago and we’re still working to be the best we can. I’ve set the record straight not just from this medium, but everything I’ve released like in JayeJaye song. That record was put out by Starboi, my new company in collaboration with EME. EME is definitely still Wizkid’s record label, Starboi is a record label that I run and I have a couple of producers that I’m working with. So, we’re expanding the business. When Banky W and I started, the dream has always been to build an empire to help more people and give them that platform to excel too. And it cannot just happen through one person, we had to branch out. The industry is very big with about five million talented kids out there looking for channel to hone their skills and become stars. And now that there’s Starboi, everyone can start something like that to help somebody become who he or she wants to be. It’s been a great evolution because I’ve worked with legends and it’s still a learning process.

MY FORTHCOMING ALBUM…
I tweeted my track list which has Olamide, Don Jazzy, D’Banj and Banky W. The album is ready; we are just putting the final touches to it and right now we’re just mixing and mastering. In a few days, the album will be out and we’re going to be having a listening party pretty soon too and we will be announcing the venue, date and other details. The album is coming out really good and I’m very happy with everything I recorded on it and I believe that this will be better than the last one I did.

RELATIONSHIP WITH MALEEK BERRY
I’ve known Maleek for about a year and a couple of months now. From the first day we met, we’ve been talking about business. We took our time to plan something properly and we’ve been executing our plans right now. This is what I said about branching out and giving other people the platform. Many people didn’t expect that and it was to show that sometimes people don’t understand that it’s all about music. Some people think that all Wizkid talks about is girls, flashy cars and all that. All I speak about in my music are my true life experiences. If I’d not been through it, I wouldn’t talk about it. So, when I decided to do JayeJaye featuring Femi Kuti, I wanted to pass a message across to all the kids aspiring to be like me that you’d have to continue to learn. The song was to build the gap between the old and the young people. And I really appreciate Uncle Femi Kuti for doing that song with me because I called him a day before we recorded the song and he obliged me.

PENCHANT FOR HIGH END CARS…
I don’t think I have a penchant for flashy cars. A lot of people in Lagos drive more expensive cars than mine in Lagos. I don’t think I’m about the cars as against what many think of me. I just like to live comfortably. It is part of the work, I need car as tool to do my business. How about people in government spending so much money on automobiles? If someone works hard for his money, I don’t think anything is wrong with what he likes to buy with the money. I work hard, why would I not live well?

PASTOR TUNDE BAKARE REACTS TO to John and Love Kumuyi's suspension

Church leaders are now reacting to the suspension of John and Love Kumuyi, calling it hypocritical. The General Overseer of Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare said:

“I personally did not see what they have done wrong. A man is entitled to his own authority in his own home.1st Peter Chapter 3. A wife should dress to please the husband and not the members of the church or public. It’s sheer wickedness to the couple, they should leave them to enjoy their honeymoon. They should not squeeze them to the modus operandi of a particular organization. I did not see anything wrong in the wedding. The bride was not naked or dressed inappropriately and  the groom didn’t. Esther the queen was beautifully dressed in the bible to gain the king’s attention. They should not make mountain out of a molehill. I was in the Deeper Life Bible Church for five years and nobody compelled me to dress the way I dressed. My wife was with me in the church though we weren’t married then. She wears earrings and dresses nicely. All this talk about this couple should stop.”

The General Overseer of the Royal Family Life Ministry, Pastor Sam Segun-Progress said:

"Dressing in any way does not affect the faith of any individual. Putting on earrings and making up do not by any individual should be allowed to do that which pleases his faith.

"I would have appreciated it better if this affected couple were just disciplined within the church and were not suspended. The suspension of the two notable members of the church is capable of sending them out of the church and Christianity totally.

"All I can deduce from what happened in the Deeper Life Bible Church is hypocrisy and this is not too good for our churches and the church leaders. I will urge the leadership of Deeper Life Bible Church to read the book of Exodus and see what God says about hypocrisy. The development in the church was a bad omen for the body of Christ and did not portray the church well before the public, especially the non-Christians.”

Police parade Bishop Nwabueze over alleged rape

A cleric that described himself as the chairman of bishops in Rivers State, Bishop Chibuike Nwabueze, has been arrested for allegedly Molesting a 15-year-old girl and sponsoring the abortion of the baby.

The incident was said to have occurred at about 2p.m on April 29, atCalvary Army Ministry in Rumuoji Eneka, in Obio/Akpor Local GovermentArea of the state.

The cleric allegedly admitted that he had a carnal knowledge of the victim (name withheld), but attributed the crime to a set-up by his enemies.

Bishop Nwabueze, who was paraded yesterday, at the Rivers State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Port Harcourt, told journalists that anyone could fall victim under manipulation.

He alleged that it was his fellow bishop and the host where he went tominister as a guest preacher that planned the incident because there had been a tussle for the chairmanship seat of the communion of bishops.

“We have different colleges of bishops. I am the chairman of Communion of Bishops in Rivers State. Well, what actually happened was a set up. It was set up by my enemies. I have so many people who are my enemies. The man who is in charge of where I went to minister is my enemy.He is the person that set me up.

“He invited me to his church for a programme, claiming to be my friend and after the programme, he set me up because of what we were dragging. We are in a tussle for chairmanship of the communion and that was why he set me up.”

He told newsmen that it was after praying for the girl in his office on thefateful day that she allegedly seduced him into Being Intimate with her, pointing out that he did not molestation her. I was surprised when I saw her pullingoff her clothes . But, before you knew it, I had carnal knowledge of her. Thatis the truth of the matter.“She laughed at me and said ‘are you angry? I told her that I did not know what she had hypnotised me for and she said I should not bother. I was so angry that I called some of my pastorsand made a confession that I did not know what happened.”

The suspect maintained that if he Molested her as alleged, the girl would have raised the alarm, because many people were within the church premises.

According to him, it was after a monththat the victim’s father called him on phone, saying that his daughter was pregnant.

Though, the cleric admitted funding the victim’s laboratory test and other hospital bills, he stressed that it was the girl’s father that insisted on abortion, adding that he took her to aclinic, where it was confirmed that thevictim had aborted the child.

Meanwhile, the police have advised parents to carefully choose where their children worship and be wary ofsome clergies.

My thoughts ... evang TOPE ALABI and HER SPIRItUAL FATHER .. questions arising.

Bad news fly faster, its easy to read these days about a pastor who impregnates a church member than reading when that same pastor have been of tremendous impact to that same congregation. Its easy to Read something Bad about a popular person and judge that person instantly. its easy for one wrong to cancel a Man.

All you need to get to the Bad side of people is just one wrong.it dosent matter the level of your impact or the positive things you ve done. It takes a little effort to fall , it takes a higher effort to Rise.

Success is dangerous, its so easy to climb the ladder but staying up is a serious business. These days news fly easily, the number of bloggers even supersedes the News available, thus everybody seems to fly the same thing, write about the same news and that ultimately makes everyone hear about it.

So I hear, Evangelist tope alabi to me is a role model, a gospel music icon, let me state here that I do not have a relationship with evangelist Tope alabi except that ave been privilege to share the podium with her on many occasions , she is a woman of God. We all listen to her Music, give testimonies of how Good and wonderful she is ,and of course Now that a sex scandal news is flying around, almost all of us have said one thing or the other Negatively about her . Its not surprising,the same people that shouted jesus is lord are the same who shouts crucify him . Loyal fans are hard to find, that's even if anything like that exist.I know its natural for people to start talking and saying all manner of things immediately a man or woman of God is involved in something Negative. Its easy for us to jump into conclusion and believe all that we read or hear. A minimal Nigerian is said to believe anything , that's why our politicians lie to us in campaigns and we still vote them in, which ultimately they will lie to us again,say all manner of things and we will still vote them in come 2015. Nigerians believe anything, oh yes , we are a believing country.

That's why we can believe the claims of prophet ajanaku(Tope alabi's spiritula father) . I do not have anything against the prophet, he's our father , and a strong pillar in the body of christ. First we must come to understand that people will talk when we give them something to talk about. The issue at hand is not why people are talking or why a blogger or the media is flying the story, the issue is why bring all this to the public.

I believe my spiritual father should protect me, not necessarily see me go wrong and look at me go destroy myself ,no that's not what am talking about. I mean there should be a decent way this whole issue should have been handled without coming to the public knowledge.

Reading prophet ajanaku's interview to major Nigeria dalies pose a lot of questions in my mind. *what has your spiritual daughter did to deserve bashing her in the public.

*what happened to pastor /memeber (client) privileges (code of secrecy) .
*what exactly is all this set to achieve.

I believe the goal of every believer is to restoration , to bring back the lost sheep. This was even demonstrated by our lord jesus christ . I believe no matter what Tope alabi has done, this should be an issue to be settled and discussed privately and this shouldn't be a debate on the pages of newspaper. I am young, and I believe that if I have a father, my father should be able to protect me and save me from public ridicule.

The interview is causing more harm to evangelist tope alabi than good. That's shouldn't be. There is always a better way. Still I might not find answers to my questions, But I know that our main goal and purpose as believers is to restore ourself back to christ in the best way and manner possible. We can't be ridiculing ourself on the pages of Newspaper and except the unbelievers to listen to us when we preach. We can't show the world that we don't care about ourselves, we need to show the world that even when we fall, we are always there for each other.

I believe a whole lot have gone underground that might not be open for us all to see. The allegations leveled towards evangelist tope is heavy and only God can put her right. Whether she did those things or not, I believe who God has blessed no man can curse. If the allegations are true, I believe we all as christians should rise up and pray for her restoration and not to join the world in bashing her, remember she represent christ. One way or the other, she has been a blessings to countless of life, we shouldn't open our eyes and see such great gift gone to the world. We should play our part , not grant interviews that will make our own look bad all in the name of wanting cheap publicity and attention.

I still don't get it, the reason why a father will openly say such things about a spiritual daughter or son . Am still trying to search the scriptures to look for a proof of that. I hope one day I will get it.

The lessons is clear for us all to learn,as believers, gospel artist ,pastors , leaders, we should know now, people don't really care. Noting like loyalist, it doesn't exist in the time of jesus so why Now.Jesus is the only friend that sticks to one more than a brother.

I rest my case, its been a long day, I need to Rest.

its TRUE ,I HAVE LEFT MY PASTOR ..TOPE ALABI SPEAKS

The smooth relationship that earlier existed between popular and successful gospel singer, Tope Alabi, and her acclaimed spiritual father, Prophet Ireti Ajanaku seems to have now become a thing of the past.
The latest development is that the father-and-daughter relationship between the duo has gone sour and the man of God has reportedly replaced the top singer with an up and coming gospel artiste named Ifemide.
First Weekly learnt that Prophet Ajanaku has chosen Ifemide to be his new daughter thereby kicking Tope Alabi out of his list of spiritual children. Ifemide is now said to be the apple of the eyes of the acclaimed prophet.
When contacted on the matter, Tope Alabi, who spoke through her husband, Soji, declined to talk about the issue. He said, “on that issue, all I can say is that God is in control.”
When asked if Tope Alabi still attends the church, he sharply said, “we have stopped going to the church.”
Information gathered from those who claimed to be in the know of the happenings between the two was that issues bordering on alleged infidelity caused the strain in the relationship between Tope Alabi and Prophet Ajanaku.
We gathered further that Prophet Ajanaku had told the artiste to desist from certain behaviours, but that she did not listen to the man of God. We also scooped from various sources that when Tope became adamant, the pastor told her to go her separate ways and stop seeing him as her spiritual father, which was why he
Tope has not hidden the fact that the man of God is the brain behind her phenomena success in the music industry. In most of her tracks, she sings the praises of Prophet Ireti Ajanaku. It was common for her to always sing 'the God of Ajanaku' in most of her songs.
Informants squealed to First Weekly that Tope decided to accept the development as a reality, when all entreaties she made to the prophet to listen to her defense failed.
Efforts by First Weekly to speak with Prophet Ajanaku on the issue were futile as he neither picked our phone calls nor replied our text messages to his phone as at press time.

went ahead to anoint another singer to take over from the popular gospel artist.

Popular Nigerian Pastor Sued For Impregnating His Secretary

The Publisher of the popular Christian Daily devotional book 'Daily Manna' and Pastor of Our Daily Manna Mountain Prayer Ministry Pastor Chris Kwakpovwe, has been dragged to court by his wife Dolapo for allegedly impregnating his secretary when they were still married. She also accused Rev Chris of fathering a child whose name was given as Tijiri.

One source said the lady he allegedly impregnated is now his wife.

The messy case is before Magistrate Folaranmi of Court 51 ,Lagos Magistrate court Ikeja.

The "man of God" who arrived court in a Toyota Sequoia with Reg KRD 305 AU told the magistrate that "I have made all efforts to persuade her, I went as far as meeting some of our elders, senior pastors and bishops. I even met redeemed Christian church of God general overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and all those that are concerned to help me beg her but she refused to come back home. I also wrote to the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) on the issue.."

The affair has sprung a lot of havoc at his Church located at 8-10 Omotrayo Banwo Street,Ogudu Ori Oke Lagos. Most of the members expressed censure over the adulterous lifestyle of Pastor Kwakpovwe, calling him a hypocrite who teaches good christian values, yet does the exact opposite.

It is not easy to be up there without getting a fair share of the scandals of life from time to time. This is more so when you are a man of God and many people look up to you.
